Not long until the season, seen this kind of thing on a few pages, something to keep us busy until our first friendly, what would be your best SL overseas 17. Mine would be
1: Tony 2: Best 3: Barnett 4: Carlos 5: Talonoa 6: Berrigan 7: Kelly 8: O Meley 9: Swain 10: Satae 11: W Manu 12: Mini 13: Smith
14: Moa 15: Greenhill 16: Mcmenemy 17: Fonua
Sure I'm forgetting a couple of decent props, leaving out Sika and Fitzgibbon was tough too. Hopefully in 2 years I'll change Hoy and Clifford for Tony and Berrigan.

Looking through the squad lists for the last 20 odd seasons...some truly awful overseas signings too!
Are you picking players on reputation and previous clubs rather than their Hull, you surley can't have Kearney in front of Willie Manu, in fact I would both Manu's, Mini and Mcmemeny in front of Kearney based on their performances for Hull.

A few difficult decisions especially in the forwards. Sao, S. Manu, Naulago, Fitzgibbon and a few others all came close.
Not a bad pick and you’re right Yippee there’s a few more that could easily be included and difficult to chose between the likes of Mini & Fitz etc. Had Logan not suffered with some injuries in particular his last one then I’d have him in the 17 over Paea. Also think McKinnon showed plenty in the short time he wore the shirt that had he stayed he’d likely have been another that would be in.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Forgot about Logan, ability wise was fantastic, lots of injuries, although still played 50 games for Hull, imagine a fully fit 4 of Satae, Logan, O Meley and Moa.

Imagine having to play against those 4 in the same game I don’t think go forward would have been an issue.

Absolutely especially with Logan and Mckinnon, Tony just got the nod because of his overall service compared with Mckinnon, the try in Cardiff will live forever in the memory. We generally recruit good oversees forwards and backs give or take a couple, just mainly sketchy in the halves.
