Also, is it me that keeps forgetting we have Baldwinson signed up? Every time I talk to my mate, I'm like we only have Lawrence and Scurr signed up as Props. But then I've just seen the Bulls training video and there he was.

We have quite a few

We have a good few players who can step up and play prop.. Lawrence, Thompson, Scurr, Baldwinson, Rogers, Green and Ho. I'd be happy to go with that to start with and see who we can pick up later in season.

However, take a look at Wingers and Centres... Blackmore, DFJ, Gill, Arundel, Clarke and Myers. No strength or depth at all.

Regarding backs you might be suprised have to think they know what they are doing they really have with every other signing!

I don't understand that Jack Walker has been given the number 31 and Holmes the number 1. We are seriously blessed with back rowers as well haha

Walker didnt want number 1 given his luck wearing it the last couple of years. Wanted 31 as thats the number he made his 1st team debut in.

Squad nos mean jack all anyway. Ill never understand why they have to change every year. Why players cant have their own no they keep year in and year out (like most other sports generally do, and like what used to happen in the early days of SL) is beyond me.

Are we really going into this season with Baldwinson and Lawrence as our starting props? What a disaster.

We do lack some obvious metre makers in the front row. Lawrence is more of a play long minutes and tackle everything type forward.

Also the wingers don't strike me as the sort that will give us much go forward either.

Aside from that the squad looks alright. I'm sure Dunning knows where he needs to strengthen.

Lawrence will be solid, but Baldwinson doesn't fill me with much confidence. I don't mind Baldwinson, but he doesn't break enough tackles or make enough metres to be a starting prop. That said, I don't think Desmond-Walker would have been a starter either, so this just shows how weak we are upfront. A million backrowers that can't even fill in at prop which seems ridiculous, but not enough out and out front rowers.
