Flashbacks to the season when Bradford were top and we were bottom. Seemed to have a few games that Super League was upside down, Leeds are going to be champions and the Bulls are going down. Funny how things worked out

Leeds could finally break out of the run of mid-table mediocrity, best chance for a few years, but a lucky cup draw is still the best chance of a trophy.
“You are playing a game of football this afternoon but more than that you are playing for England, and more even than that, you are playing for right versus wrong. You will win because you have to win. Don’t forget that message from home. England expects every one of you to do his duty.”

I honestly feel like looking beyond the major trophies. We’ve limped through a season but won a trophy so many times. Playing well consistently, and entertaining us fans is more important to me now. I’d honestly rather have a major pop at LLS (rather than limp into playoffs and make GF. ). Even if we didn’t make GF, that would at least mean we’ve watched some high quality RL for most of the year …….

Agree with that. The amount of top teams (excluding Saints)we turned over - Salford, Hudds, Wigan and Catalans (both twice) under Rohan’s stewardship gives me real hope that they will. If we avoid another double digit injury and suspension list I think we'll anybody a real run for their money.

Wigan could win it imo. Im unsure on Saints. There are a lot on unknowns for them. Would love Cas to go down
I wouldn't want Cas to go down always good to beat them in their final.

I've got tremendous respect for Wigan as a club but I'm not convinced that they will improve this year. Bateman is a loss no matter what anybody says and while young Wardle could be very good, King is pretty average in my book. Not aware that they have players returning from injury (like Newman and Holroyd) who could have a transformational impact.

fascinating season ahead. the most unpredictable for many a year. you can make cases for and against most sides. saints, wigan, leeds round about top 4. castleford, warrington and leigh fighting to stay up but I think honestly it could be anything, which can only be good for the game

Leigh & Warrington will be fighting for a top 6. Forget the past, this is the real deal this time round.
