I haven’t gotten to anywhere near the junior games I used to for a few years now so struggle with anything aside from club updates. What can you tell us about the lad?
Thanks

Not a lot to judge him on to be fair. Don't think he has the size or speed to be a SL regular

Funny though when we was still a fc player likes of you dave said he was a great prospect

Soon as he leaves like Connor he was rated one of the best full back by alot of our fans

Soon as Connor leaves he's this and that   basically they just repeated what I said all last season

Connor is and was a penalty machine and not fast enough for a "top" full back

He was a great prospect based on his academy amdxreserve performance, you would know that if you went to games, but it's pretty obvious based on your views you don't go to any games.

Never really got a fair chance at Hull, got throw in when team where is awful form when he had the chance to play him when we where playing well. Got good skill, with a good running and kicking game, small size yes, but so are other plenty of other players.

Surprised he has gone to Cas, as behind a fair few players.

Loves a ex Hull and Rovers players does Radders, just signed 3 ex academy players.

His history of bringing through young players isn't great, make a couple of big errors at Hull.

My twopenneth in regards to Hookem is he was a good prospect but never seemed to get a real opportunity and as evidenced by Hodgsons own admission he made a mistake not giving him more opportunities in 2021 then went on to give him less in 2022, so some mixed messages there.
When he did get a possible chance it was when most had already chucked in the towel so hardly a great thing for a young player. Not surprised he moved on but think Cas will be similar in that he'll be down the pecking order but he may well be given more of chance.

As for Connor I dont recall seeing anyone saying Connor was a top fullback or ever would be more that it was the best position for him and us in the squad. Yes he wasn't quick but not really any slower than Wellens was and he did OK as a FB. Yes he gave some penalties away as did many others however his postive contributions in terms of assists and creation of scoring for the team far out weighed the negatives.

I'm disappointed Connor has gone as he is a great talent but can see and understand the logic in letting him go and do feel we are in better shape and more balanced with Hoy. Trueman and Clifford than the reliance on Connor.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

In the (granted) small amount I saw of him, he didn't leave any lasting impression on me. Small, not particularly quick or had any sort of kicking game.

He would of probably been about 7th in the pecking order at Hull, it made sense for us to allow him to move on.

Very surprised to see Junior move there on a fulltime contract but good luck to the lad.

I don't think I recall ever having much of an opinion on him tbh? Said he should have been given a shot in the 1st team - but more due to under performance of others

Cheers everyone - Pretty much what I expected - would’ve been surprised he left if the club had high hopes for him
