Having thought about it I think its more likely to be a Morgan Smithies contract extension.

I get the sentiment with Owen Farrell but I’m not sure signing a 30 something RU player who’s not played league since he was a kid is great news for the game?

I can't see it being Farrell. Isn't he in the cusp of breaking some international points scoring record. Not a chance he's going to pass up the chance of that legacy. I guess time will tell. I'm not sure how credible the podcasts are. Harrison would be in danger of being laughed out and potentially ridiculed for such comments. Smithies extension would be good news for Wigan but certainly not in the way he mentioned.

Think he gets ridiculed a lot anyway. He promotes his players so much, makes out Toby King is prime Greg Inglis for example.

Also he’s only recently discovered how to pronounce SAL-ford. Mick and Jimmy on that show provide good insight but Harrison and his son are a few sandwiches short of a picnic.
