Just read that this morning so I had a quick browse at the 2022 superleague table to check the defensive points against. Don't think England Rugby Union have took note in terms of defence coaching.

Wasn't all his fault, think Ellis was mainly responsible for defence, but he will have had his say. When he played I'd say his attack was his strongest part of his game too.

Similar thinking, thought he (Hodgson) would have been better suited towards an attack coach

Certainly a move that has come out of left-field but then he's well known to Eddie Jones.

Good luck to him, a decent man, the job at Hull unfortunately just didn't work out.

Seems a strange move when you look at how poor we where under his tenure but he had good links with Eddie Jones. Not sure how successful an appointment, though time will tell but how much time Jones has left is another story.
