A deal was agreed of two years on a reasonable salary with incentives if he hit them. However he then threw his toys out of the pram and wanted more money, Leigh and another unnamed team came in offering silly money. Leeds weren’t willing to go that high as they believe Hooley is good enough to progress and Walker may come back if his body holds up as that was planned in. Negotiations are on going into trying to pay off Prior to go to the Bulls as they have a had a big investment from a silent investor. Apparently a centre isn’t at the top of the list as Nene wants to stay at Leigh, but the big one was having cap space which Leeds have plenty of and more to come. Also last bit and I will have more on Friday but there is a big shake up of some big players within a few Super League clubs that will shock a few people.

That doesn’t surprise me with Hardaker, I can understand he’d want one big last contract but surely he should have wanted to be somewhere that gives him best chance of trophies. I’m sure the offer we made was more than decent. Hopefully Prior goes and we can bring in a good centre

If there are moves with Bradford for Prior, it must be to create an OQ space. That has to go on a centre. I liked the look of McDonald last night, but if Leigh are paying silly money, then we have to look elsewhere. I would take Gildart, but expect he would be expensive - so maybe we're looking to create cap space by moving Prior on. Sounds like still more moves to come.....

Centre 100% a priority. Not sure I understand what the big shake up of some big players means other than clubs are looking to offload. Which seems a bit late to do at this stage. Intrigued.

Also heard this myself, Prior and Donaldson are two names I’ve heard the club trying to shift to Bradford Bulls. Also, they are looking at at least 3 on loan for the season. That plus DR for next season, Bradford could have at least 10 players on their books that have played for Leeds or currently do
