I received my and my family’s passes renewal this morning, I must admit I’m really looking forward to watching the team next season, hopefully a more balanced looking side, with a running fullback and guile and craft with Truey once fit linking with an incoming scrum half. ( fingers crossed)

The signing of Dwyer giving us further go forward, and hopefully Joey will emerge as Dwyers partner, rather than trawling out Danny again, who should really be a very adequate stand in if needed.

The departure of Connor has been well and truly done to bits, personally I’ve always believed he’d be off as soon as he could, good player at times, seems he wanted to go, so au revoir Jake thanks and good luck. It’s a moot point about replacing our star man before we sign a replacement, none of us really know the situation behind the scenes, we have to trust the club, who in my opinion have really revamped a team, and more importantly replacing the Hodgson era quickly and especially replacing Brett with an excellent first team experienced coach, if he’s half as good as Brian was, he’ll do for me, I helped carry Brian round the Boulevard marvellous times. Good luck Tony.

AP has once more backed to the hilt our failing team, he alone deserves our support, following really desperate times, he’s come back for more, what a guy, thank you AP :)

Congratulations to Mitch as well, he was up against Ado Carr and Latrell Mitchel on his debut against the Australians, he did a really good job in this game, showing marked improvement for a guy quite new to our game, we’re as most know I love to see speed on the wings, it seems we are lacking in this department, I’ll accept this, you can’t have everything at once.

How are our injured players doing, Andre Carlos Truey, Joey, Joe, any updates yet.

Apart from a quality seven, which may happen soon, a star second row, and speed on the wing, I don’t think we are far off, really hopeful of big improvement under our Tony.

Good post.

As you say, I’m sure there’s plenty going on behind the scenes. Hopefully not too long before a new 7 and (fingers crossed) second rower are announced.
Also looking forward to seeing who the new assistant coach(es) is/are as well as new strength and conditioning coach and rehab coaches.

Carlos, Cator and Savelio all back running and Lovodua has his knee brace off and been doing his rehab back in Australia.
Not too sure on the others.
Really looking forward to pre-season starting and hopefully we’ll get plenty of content from the club throughout especially with the move to Hull university.

Thanks, it’ll be great to get Cator back, he’s so energy infectious, he’s in my side, but lord knows where :D

Lovodua mentions a conditioner called Calum Christopherson?

Who is he?

Came to the club from Castleford at the end of the 2021 season.

Appointing Tony and moving to the new training facilty is a game changer for me.

Regardless of who we do, or don't, sign we've finally got someone in who will change the club on and off the field.

Re-enthused me anyway.

Most enthusiastic about a new season I have been for a few years, feels like Pearson has woken up and realised tnat hiring assistants and a weak backroom team wont cut it.

Need to keep our feet on the ground though, the squad is still inbalanced and it will take time. But as long as we are in the mix for 6 and look like we are heading into SL's new franchise era in a good place then im happy.

This is the main thing, we all need to be optimistic but realistic in the expectations for next season.
