Do you still hate all germans because of Adolph Hitler?

LMAO. The Vichy government ended on 1944. So are you really claiming that a government from 80 years ago are to blame for the state of rugby league in France? That is hilarious. Give your head a wobble lmao

Are you seriously suggesting that something that happened in the past can't impact on the present or even the future? Seriously?
You really are determined to make sure we all know what a brainless no mark you are, aren't you? I'll tell you what; mission accomplished. There. No need to keep making your moronic posts any more. Just imagine what you can do with all that extra time. You're welcome.
TheWarringtonWolve69 wrote:You said " have tried for over 100 years" Which means they are still trying when in fact, the 2 codes have never been closer. If "onion" was trying to destroy "british bulldog", do you really think they would allow one of their head coaches to coach the league world cup? Or do nothing when its most decorated head coach went on a RL podcast to declare his love for league?
Stop living in the past. Union has completely overtaken rugby league so there is no reason for union to want to destroy it as its not even close to being a threat. There is no need to still be bitter about it
Ha ha. You look at every rugby league event in this Country and therr is always a very similar one in Union.
In 2015, Union wanted to use Old Trafford on Grand Final night, Man Utd refused and Union played a game at the Etihad. Union trying to destroy League is very much alive so I take great pride in watching them fall flat on their faces.
Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid. Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal. Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.
The effect of the vichy government on league in france was huge as it was becoming very popular up until that point, and the rules that were enforced on the code to limit growth until 1991 also killed off any chance of a resurgence the sport could possibly have plus the asset stripping that went down they really had no chance.
I have just been to a country in the last month where rugby league is banned and it is illegal to play or watch a game of league, all due to intervention from union. I know this through a series of strange circumstances where i ended up attending a union match over there (christ it is duller then i remember) and some took great smugness in telling me this fact.
Anybody who thinks, even in the modern day, union doesn't use every opportunity it gets to kill or undermine growth of rugby league in other countries either doesn't know much on the subject or is incredibly nieve.

If you are talking about the country that I think you are talking about then you obviously don't know much on the subject or are incredibly naive about it as said country has now lifted the ban and recognises RL as an official sport, there was an announcement but it was not announced on here
All the good music has already been written by people with wigs and stuff.

I think you are talking about greece? Not who i mean but it is great for them that there ban is now lifted and will hopefully be able to make some progress towards growth in the region!

So the ban on RL in Greece has just been lifted, just proves that union is still trying and it has took until now for the ban to be lifted in one more country.
