Hope you all made a bit of cash!

Saints 2/1 Wigan 4/1 Leeds 8/1
£10 on saints £5 on Wigan £5 on Leeds
Saints win you get £20 + £10 stake back - £10 lost stakes = £20 Wigan Win you get £20 + £5 stake back - £15 lost stakes = £10 Leeds win you get £40 + £5 stake back - £15 lost stakes = £30
Or is my maths wrong?
In the above scenario, your total outlay is £20.
A Saints win will return you £30, so an overall profit of £10 (the equivalent of backing a 1/2 winner).
A Wigan win will return you £25, so an overall profit of £5 (the equivalent of backing a 1/4 winner).
A Leeds win will return you £45, so an overall profit of £25 (the equivalent of backing a 5/4 winner).

My bad, wasn't paying much attention to the warm up games. Wales don't have a good squad, and don't play any matches on home soil. They had a big game all teed up at Wrexham the last time that the WC was hosted over here, with the Aussies in the QF. Sadly, they bombed the group games and the USA played in front of a poor crowd. It would have been rocking had Wales played, and that's the most likely reason there's no games in the principality, this time around. Anyhow, it was pretty quiet in the bar and easy to get a chat with the likes of Andrew Johns and Brad Fittler before the game kicked off.

With today’s announcement of Drinkwater combined with all the other signings I was intrigued to see if our price changed for the Grand Final but we still at 8/1. But think I will have a little dabble, I mean come on we looking in good shape on paper at least.

My rationale for saving your money is
1. No team has gone from finishing second bottom in the league the preceding season to becoming SL champions the next. 2. No team other than Saints/Wigan/Leeds has won SL in the last 17 years.
