Has anyone seen FCs proposal for the match days? Are they going with Saturday and Sunday which screws my weekends up are are we going back to Fridays. I appreciate that Sky come in and screw some dates up for us all but for the first time since 1984 I have cancelled my membership as I want to keep my weekend free so I am hoping that we have proposed Fridays for our matches. What do most people prefer?

I'd prefer Friday nights over Sunday afternoons but I'm not sure what's going to happen next season.
We had a few games last season on Saturday afternoons which I didn't get why as it clashed with other sports more and family time.
Pass prices are out, but no decision on match days as far as I know. Same as last year, renewed my pass, then they moved to Saturday and Sundays and missed a few games, when fridays I don't miss any
The problem is if they did a poll with current members I'd bet it would be almost 50/50 with those prefering Friday nights to those prefering weekend afternoons. A fair proportion of supporters will be unhappy with the fixture list whatever the club have decided.
I enjoyed the spring/summer afternoon games this year, maybe because we won a few and the weather was good although there was a chance to put on things for families, something not really possible on a Friday night.
I know some people say they are too busy, or working on a Saturday afternoon but football clubs manage to get decent crowds.

I don't think it really matters when we play COYH crowd wise.
Win more games is paramount but if we lose just don't throw the towel in at half time and the attendances will be more or less the same.

Personally for me I hope that we revert to mainly Friday nights as it leaves the weekends free for family stuff. The other side of the coin in regards to match days is the corporate. As someone who worked for a company that sponsored various sports over the years it was noticeable that it was easier to get guests to attend sports events midweek than Saturday/Sunday unless they were high profile events.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!
weekends no good for me, fridays for me due to work, saturday and sunday daytimes are like weekdays now i guess for most people with work, feel the club turned their back on adult pass holders who stuck with them through the covid seasons for a few extra sales in kids passes for weekends!
A good few days for the club. A brilliant home kit (one of my favourites of recent years) and a pretty good promotional video for our membership campaign. Having read some of the benefits etc I think the club are making some great strides towards building the connection/communication between the club and the fans again. I do hope that some follow up videos can be released explaining the membership benefits and incentives however.
In terms of match days, i am rather lucky to be pretty flexible in terms of playing either Friday nights or weekend afternoons. I think its tough for the club, there never going to please everyone. The one positive of the weekend afternoon games is that it did feel more like a family orientated event.
I really do hope that sales can be up on previous years. I understand times are tough but the club needs us more than ever during what could be the end of a era for the vast majority of the squad.
