Wingers and centres excellent doing hard yards early in the sets. Forwards been great stopping Samoa getting any field position until the last 10/15 or so. Need to wrap up the ball and stop the offloads are that will kill us. Frustrating that Welsby through the interception pass, it worked twice that side already and with The Hammer off injured i'd still be targetting that side as it'll be disjointed.
We do need to take advantage of the field position we had. Samoa surely won't be as bad in the second half as they were in the first half.

Pretty damned good from England. Williams certainly justified his selection. Welsby good with ball in hand, kicking not so much. Outside backs all impressive too.

The pivots of Tomkins, Williams and Welsby worked very well and fed our outside backs with quality plays. Thought our weakness at times was at no 9 with distribution, when Ridley went there we looked better and we started to pile on the points.
Good confidence booster that for the team and Wane.
On a side note I thought the Samoa coach Parish looked as though he had just got out of bed and had a sleepy look about him.
The new young dynasty of super saints is coming to a ground near you. Welsby-Dodd-Simms-Eaves-Rizzelli, not Eastmond...the future is coming.

How is education supposed to make me feel smarter? Besides, every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out of my brain. Remember when I took that home winemaking course, and I forgot how to drive?

Aussie shirt numbers. Bunch of lovers, as ever.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Thought Fiji started the game well! Gave the Aussie’s a bit of a scare but then a silly defensive read put Addo-Carr away. After that, the Aussie’s were too good. However they don’t look unbeatable like they used too. Even though they do have the Penrith lads to come back.
