This has been rumoured for a while. I doubt very much if it's owt to do with the York result. BTW, does anyone know how much losing to York cost the club financially?

Seemed to me like they wanted to wait until it was properly finalised as the headline seemed rushed , but Ian leybourne reported it at 2:30 pm and lots of rumours probably forced there hand ,also the owner of Deliveree looks like he wasn’t informed which is strange has he has 20% shares in the company. He wasn’t happy on Facebook yesterday and has since deleted his comments, but it looks like the other sponsers stagefreight and eclipse energy amongst others have pulled a fast one on him . Really don’t understand the whys and wherefores but let’s look forward to a new chapter .

Just have to wait and see for what further information that must inevitably follow regarding the new BoD.

One thing I'm pretty sure about is that the former biggest share holders / board would not have sold their part to just anybody who came along, they must have had enough confidence in them to let the club change ownership.

Well its nil points so far on planning for the communication of the change to its loyal remaining customer fan base . An opportunity badly missed .

I would have thought that w ell planned takeover would include a well planned comms strategy. Hopefully something will hit shortly

To be fair, I think the club just released a brief statement before the news leaked out and the rumour mill kicked in. Rick and Mike (the media team) are both away on holiday at the moment so hopefully a more detailed version will follow when they get back.
