Leeds don't come close
I don’t get why you feel the need to come on another board and make those kind of comments? If you think St Helens are the greatest club or most successful club or whatever else then fair play to you. I don’t agree, I don’t even think this is the best St Helens side of the last 15 years, let alone the best side ever.
I assume you’ve been to St Helens, there is literally nothing to do but play rugby league, it is a god awful place. Despite that and the fact St Helens have been champions for 4 years on the bounce. They don’t sell out, don’t even have the highest average attendance for gods sake. If you haven’t been to Leeds there are numerous other attractions and sports to compete with for players and fans. Despite that, despite the fact Leeds have been awful for a number of years they still have the highest average attendance, they still produce numerous high quality players and despite being fighting relegation half way through the season they got to Old Trafford and have St Helens a decent game.
Well done on winning, well deserved. Just try and have a little bit more class about yourself when you come onto another teams board and post about it.

Congratulations to St Helens, well deserved victory and they are clearly the benchmark. We’ve got a lot to be proud about, and with a different bounce of the ball or a bit more luck with officials decisions and it could have been a different result.
One thing is certain, we finished the season a lot better than we started it, and we have a great platform to kick on from here. We need a couple more players this close season, and then some real grunt up front and a game breaker in the back row next close season and we will be right back up there.
We’ve come a long way in the last 6 months, rest up lads you’ve a big season next year.
It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.

Leeming in the halves to start and Smith at 13 for me would have been a better option and I think Smith eluded to it at the end. One thing I did notice is that the only Saints player who mentioned how well Leeds played was Makinson. Top bloke who was one of only 2 players who applauded the Southstand before it closed to a new stand. Very gracious unlike the coach and other players if I remember rightly. Time to reflect get some new players in and let`s see what happens next year.
Makinson's antics at the final whistle in front of the Leeds fans were classless, whatever he said after the game. Those Leeds fans throwing bottles were even worse
Woody: Can I pour you a draft, Mr. Peterson?
Norm: A little early, isn't it Woody?
Woody: For a beer?
Norm: No, for stupid questions.

Didn`t pick up on that. What did he do? But if that`s what losing means we should receive a hefty fine for throwing bottles.. Did Catalans get fined when they did the same against us btw?

As a Leeds fan I'm embarrassed by some of the comments
This is the best team of the super league era.. saints have had better players for sure. But the consistency of effort of this saints team is unrivaled
I thought we would win today. Even at half time I was confident. Was waiting for that dip but they were too good.
Bring on next year. Looking forward to a more consistent Leeds Rhinos

I agree. We’ve done really well of late under Smith but as you say the gap is still huge. They are better across the park and in some positions the gap is massive.
They have far more quality than anyone else.
Sadly I agree with flex wheeler, with welsby , Dodd and Lomax they can continue to dominate. Each club bar Saints have had a period or many periods of being poor. They haven’t and remain way ahead.
Although we never stopped trying we played some fairly dumb stuff at times. Recruitment is now key.

He ran the ball out at the end but went the length of the dead ball line goading the Leeds fans. People should not throw plastic bottles but he triggered it
