Rohan also put Smith there last week when sezer went off. And with Smith in the halves you could also put him 3 in from either edge when defending which could be a positive. Think defensive positions will be Rohans biggest consideration.

However, compared to some of the crap bans we've seen this season to come away with nothing is unacceptable. The issue for me isn't Knowles playing or not it's the consistency of the panel. The fact more people are talking about this than the actual game is worrying. Best thing to happen would be the rfl binning the match review panel end of season and coming up with something new. Players know the risks when they cross the white wash. Only ban someone for something really bad.
Agree. I’ve been saying for ages they should really just do it like football where you get suspensions for red cards (they can grade red cards to decide severity if it makes them feel bad and give the job squad something to do) and a 1 game ban for an accumulation of yellow cards. Failing that, you don’t get involved unless some serious act of malice was missed by the official on the day.
The only reason they look up to you is because they chose to kneel.

But if we take either clubs bias out of it what it has highlighted is how incompetent the RFL are and the process isn’t correct.
Bearing in mind the second appeal judiciary didn’t even review the actual incident which led to a ban, the appeal wasn’t about that, the appeal was about the wording that the first appeal judiciary review used in their summary.
How then can the second appeal judiciary over rule the original MRP’s verdict without reviewing the actual incident on which the MRP gave the decision on.
Knowles got off because of a technicality not because the third panel thought he wasn’t guilty, that’s an unfit process.
Kind of, they didn’t need to review the incident because they were ruling based on the first panel’s own ruling. They basically declared him innocent of the charge but kept the ban

Which is my point, a judiciary that isn’t actually reviewing the incident shouldn’t decide guilt or not.

We all hate Leeds, We all hate Leeds (as the song goes) except for tonight. Hope the Rhinos can pull it off, certainly less of a shock with Saints being without Walmsley. Think Oledski will have to be at his best and the pack generally at their best too. If they are, then you have a great chance tonight. C'mon Leeds, bring it back to Yorkshire. Forgot to add, hence the edit, I hope the match is not won by a controversial decision and that it proves to be a great game, enjoyed by the RL fraternity, in great spirit too. Safe journey to all Saints and Rhinos fans and may the best team win. As long as its Leeds.

Game on now. Pro’s We are on a roll nothing to lose, playing with desire and confidence, arguably the form side of the competition. They look flaky and certainly beatable.
Cons losing Sezar plus outside backs decimated.
Plus Not beat Saints for 4 years time to reverse that, surely its due and stop them doing 4 in a row. If we win its 9 Grand final wins to their 8
