It’s not because of Marks age or experience its pure snobbery.
If Mark had been a great player and thus famous they would be lording him now.
Sadly Mark was a fairly obscure player even to Trinity fans so his name carries no kudos
I hope in a years time Mash can stand in front of those Sky cameras and face down cheap shot merchants like Wilkins and say to them, as the great Ali did, ‘what’s my name!’
Neither Peet nor Rohan Smith and even Christian Woolf had any playing career to speak of. Wilkins comments attitude was total in keeping with his anti Wakefield stance. It has backfired a bit on him and Brookes this time.

Just as Peet and Smith have done at Wigan and Leeds, it's up to MA and Trinity to, once again, prove the doubters wrong. Mind you, Wilkin's comments were massively disrespectful, especially as he will have played against Applegarth in SL, shocking
Basically, it shows just how poor Wilkin's knowledge is.
I had to smile when he was talking about players "diving" too. It wasn't so long ago when Trinity were playing Saints at BV, that Wilkin was doing an excellent dying swan act, only to jump to his feet as soon as the penalty was awarded against Trinity.

I agree, but had he been a name, especially from a 'big' club it would have been more mooted, he wouldn't be so vocal IMO. Wilkin was a cheap shot player we all know that, so no surprise he's now the schoolyard bully.

Saying that, he made himself look a bit stupid yesterday by not doing his homework. I guess he was trying to say he isn't a well known coach but ultimately, there is enough info on him to be able to tell people who he is

Head of Youth Performance, Academy\Reserves head coach, first team assistant coach, anything else the bloke didn't do?!
He's got Pitts and Field already in there, wouldn't surprise me in the least to see Arona stay on in some role. I'm sure he intimated he wanted to go into coaching and unlike Dave I've heard no reference to him going home (might be wrong on that).

Shook Tinni's hand at the grab a piece of turf morning, and asked him if was going home, he said he was hanging around for a while.
