Its a very bold approach which could backfire spectacular for both himself and the club, again all if true.
it wouldnt suprise me if all he has to work with are the young players. I really hope it works out for him and he just dosnt become the fall guy

The great thing is though, he didn’t have to stab his immediate Manager in the back to elevate his own career.
Strong words there, did Poching stab Chester in the back?
Yep, have to agree with all of the above comments but let's hope (if true) that he can be Wakefield's answer to Matty Peet BUT....just to throw a spanner in the works, Dennis Betts has just stepped down at Newcastle

Nice enough bloke and done a good job with the youngsters, but head coach, not in my eyes, not yet anyway. And people thought that WP was inexperienced. I think that he will be the interim coach, but you never know, time will tell.

From the outside it appears this could be the reasoning going on. Poching may have been told he's working working with youngsters next year and he may have balked, so contract not renewed. Who would accept such a position, a coach who has worked with these players and is keen for a shot.
If true I hope works out for both the club and Mash. Could be a great success or utter disaster.
I am sorry but if true every action so far smacks of cost cutting. He may be knowledgeable about the Trinity youth team but what does he know to assist with regards future signings.

I think it's worse than that. We have enough money to talk to Andrew Fifita so we are not skint, we just need to use it wisely. This isnt using it wisely, its showing a complete lack of understanding of what is needed. Like I said, I don't thing our board is that daft. But they may be about to prove me wrong.
