Ah well yes in that case I agree it is a shock that someone has stuck their head above the parapet. I’ve been calling for someone at the club to give us an honest assessment so it’s welcomed to me although I do agree it doesn’t fully wash to just try to pin the blame on JK.

Give it a rest Jason
We must be the only club in the league where players have signed else where part way through the season then because every other team has managed just fine.
What a load of tosh

Unintentionally this statement says so much about where the club is and how it's been run over the past few years.

Terrible recruitment, lack of oversight from the owner, some players giving up, lack of authority from the head coaches and the man in overall charge conspicuously silent. Instead the volunteer CEO comes out with this.

Phoenix Nights RLFC.

I can't make head nor tail of all these whispers. I'd love to know what exactly it is that's been going on in the background because its clearly a very big issue. Sounds like a pint with Crossley would be quite illuminating.

The comments from Crossley only go to support the fans suspicions that we are an absolute shambles of a club behind the scenes. I find it massively concerning that our captain has come out the day after his last game with comments like this. If I'm honest, I'm not shocked or surprised to hear stuff like this.

I suppose you have to consider this in the context of contract negotiations. He says this was his decision to leave, but if an acceptable contract had been put before him, he would have stayed. So either the club offered him a really low contract, or the club had got to the last week of the season without offering a contract at all, which is possibly more insulting.
