Good appointment...plays a good brand, experienced, can handle the pressure of being at a big club. Id be happy if i was a Hull fan

Really happy with the appointment. First time in a decade and a half that we have a proven head coach. I can see Pearson letting him do what he wants on the playing side. Genuinely excited about what he will bring, and can see him bringing the club together on and off the pitch.

He is the best centre we have.I would make him captain based on his workrate alone
Shoe in for an England spot at centre and i understand the Aussies are petrified about playing against him having heard so much about his lightning speed and frightening defence

It's refreshing that his appointment has brought on a mood of optimism on here. New era. Massive challenge. Really looking forward to next season and confident Smith can turn things around.

i wonder how many fans who were deciding not to renew next season have had a change of heart? just hope we dont employ the rovers best tactic.....waving arms for penalties at every ptb haha

Notice how it tends to be the overseas players that do that? SKD, Coote and Parcell.
Seems like a Danny Maguire tactic though because he used to do it a lot
