So, what is the point of us nurturing and developing these players if we lose them anyway?

Here's a (devil's advocate) thought: Scrap the other teams and put the brass into the first team instead.

It's the same as running a Reserves team, but not having enough players fit for the first team. What is the point of that then?

Doyle has been our fittest and most consistent forward (albeit not saying that much) so losing him would be a blow. It would leave us with veteran George Flanagan snr as our first choice and only hooker as things stand.

I'm afraid that the Cougars are a club going in totally the opposite direction to ourselves and will easily take the 4 points at stake next season...................that's if we make it to next season!

It may yet come to that but having the other sides might influence power brokers into thinking we should be included in the rumoured two divisions of ten clubs (if more than just on field performance is being considered).

Bit of a vain hope I think.

If Doyle is going to the cougars next season why is T&A going on about him missing the start of next season because of a ban he’s picked up against Batley. Do they know something else……

I cant see it happening to be honest at all BUT if it did, then damn there would be a melt down, and rightly so.

I thnk we all accept we cant keep hold of our good young players if an SL club comes knocking. I dont like is as much as the next person but i accept thats where we are as a club.

If we lost one to Keighley then thats a whole different kettle of fish, And i would be more than haply to lead the angry mob with my pitch fork. It would be a complete kick in the balls to every fan, everyone who puts in the effort at Bullbuilder and raise doubt also about Squadbooster.

Heard a rumour Doyle may be coming to Wakefield Trinity. Know nothing about him but doesn’t seem to be mentioned here.

Top six 2005 - Trinity.

Squad booster are trying their best to attract members, we have funds and have helped with a couple of the new signings. I’ve not heard of Doyle going just this rumour but if he does it’s a loss but it doesn’t matter what budget the club have plus what we can offer if this isn’t enough and a club offers more than we can afford. New members are always welcome and if this can happen then we might be able to afford to keep such players.

I'd be surprised if he went to Keighley, he's been rumoured to be attracting SL interest all year.

As RagingBull said If we did go there then the melt down would be justified. Despite us having a disappointing season, we should still be able to outbid Keighley as Doyle should be the priority re-signing if he's happy to remain in this division. Think it's just mischief making and the whole Keighley will overtake us next year narrative.

Just spit it out, man

He appears to be having children with 2 separate women at the same time. Good to see he's keeping his fitness levels up.

I'd like to say there is absolutely no chance of Doyle moving to Cougars from the Bulls. But to be honest, it's the sort of shambles I would expect from the current outfit.

I would of thought he would have SL offers, so I suppose he might well end up on loan at somewhere other than the Bulls in the Championship. Can't blame him if he doesn't want to be involved in our battle against relegation.
