I thought the FC wonder kid, Connor, really stood up to be counted today. You really need your experienced players to lead by example. Lost his cool as he often does and the dropped passes only were overshadowed by that wonderful pass to the side line.

The last available Rovers 16 really stood up today and were in he face of Hull FC from start to finish you simply had no answer.

What about Ryan Hall? Surely a shoe in now for the England world cup team.

I couldn't hear the robin sing if not for you.

He was exceptional today. But it was against a very, very poor team.

Vete has been terrible for you for 2 years but was the best forward on the field. Perspective is needed.

Hall is at least very good every match. His signing was decried on the forum but has proved his critics wrong,

Vete has been a disappointment overall but has steadily improved since TS left. Going on what he did in the NRL today you saw the true Albert Vete.

The difference was that HKR rose to the occasion whilst FC collapsed under the pressure.

The scene was set for me once again in the warm ups. I can count on 1 hand the amount of decent warm ups we had have this season. We look slow ,passes go into touch or bounce of a players chest and it seems like just the 1 move we try over and over again. I sit in the east stand and watch amazed some games. Said to my daughter today that was the most uninterested warm up all season we are in trouble today and yep sure was

Can see HKR in the top 6 next season

Pearson must be a mug

That's being a bit optimistic.

I’d say thats being very optimistic as based on what we’ve witnessed the past two seasons under Hodgson and the lack of anything being implemented in terms structures, identity, discipline or even the basics of catching & tackling. Frankly I’d be surprised if we aren’t involved in a relegation fight.

The signings made are just not going to lift us up enough and will only leave us further behind.

Hodgson & Purtil (I’d even add Ellis to some extent too) together have had two full seasons now and we look more bereft off ideas and clueless in almost every aspect of the game under their tenure. In fact I’d wager we are actually even poorer now thdn in the worst days under Agar.

I simply can not see any option for the club to move forward than to remove Hodgson and Purtill from the club and replace them with an experienced Coach who will not stand on ceremony or allow the players to take the mickey.

Today once again showed there is absolutely no accountability within the club.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

We always do. It's well scripted.

Luckily Sutcliffe and dwyer are a big step up on what we have especially dwyer he actually offers a threat in attack from dummy half something we haven't had for 15 years

Hopefully hoy is similar to field and French if he is we'll be dark horses for sure

Crowds will drop but will be back if we're near a grand final/cup final

No chance too slow these days

And the fact makinson and Marshall are far and away better these days

Johnstone would be above him if fit aswell and Tom Davies imo

"Occasion" get a grip was basically a friendly

Hence why I've hardly spoke about the game and also lowest Derby kc crowd for super league even with cheap offers for Upper tier says it all

Was a nothing match in reality and proves both teams need a hard look at themselves

We deffo should be challenging. Rovers have had 2 good seasons since they got promoted so like 15 seasons hardly write home about eh
