Either Pearson changes his mindset on how the club is run or he sells up and someone leads us with In a different direction. If we go into next season with no change , same again will happen !

Bringing in a dor is an admission that the coach is not good enough and completely undermines him. Also another salary which we can ill afford.

I agree , that’s if we don’t part with hodgson . Like I said , a clean sweep is needed , hodgson , Clarke , conditioners etc . Pearson too , if we could , unless he hands the running of the club over to a dor .

A Director of Rugby does not run a club, he (or she :) ) overseas rugby matters.

We need a rugby man above hodgson , who Pearson let’s makes decisions about the rugby side . Pearson still knows nothing about rugby and what are clarkes qualifications for his role ! We are run like a championship team .

Indeed. Look at Wigan. Radlinski, club legends who vets signings and helps drive standards.

Well there are a lot of very unhappy people on here and we all have every right to be bitterly disappointed and downright broken hearted, not so much for the result today, but more for the abject second half of the season we have seen as once again. Nothing changes at our Club when it comes to a total lack of any sort of accountability from the playing side of the club

Hull FC is at a real watershed and Adam Pearson must be at the end of his tether. As well as being at the lowest point I can remember since we moved to the MKM Stadium the inability to actually raise their game for a local Derby in front of 16,000 people is bad enough. However, when you consider that every one of those players knew that we are struggling to service the debts we have accrued during Covid, with the user agreement at the Stadium and undoubtably even before today with raising many season ticket sales next year, (all of which threatens their very livelyhoods), then the woes at our club are bigger than a mere supporter can comprehend.

Rugby Manager, New Coach new Backroom new players???? it's hard to imagine when you’re so low on funds and facing more holes in your future income streams, exactly where you start. We all know the players that need to be moved out but they won’t go and we can’t afford to do it and yet, what incoming coach worth his salt is going to take on the job knowing that is the case, particularly with the culture that prevails in some of the players we can’t move on, who seem to have an amazing ability to broadcast their inertia across the whole playing group.

‘The players don’t care about us as fans’, that’s a strong statement, but one I heard repeated several times, but with performances like todays it’s hard not to agree with the thousands of people who left the game before the end today probably saying just that. It’s therefore obvious now that many, many of the fans have stopped caring about the players and as such, are considering not renewing next season. This is if we're not careful as I said in starting perhaps the beginning of the end of the Club. Today was the players one chance of redemption on so many fronts and instead they simply and completely ignored everything as far as passion wanting and pleasing the fans who invest so heavily in them, was concerned, instead they did what they always do – what THEY want to do!.

We still love the Club for it is in our DNA and we don’t want to always win, none of us believe that is ever possible, but for 80 minutes a week we want to see passion wanting and most of all some accountability. Some self-sacrifice in exchange for the sacrifices we’ll all be making to go round another season. With the current economic demise of the country sacrifice really is the keyword here as well. Where do we go from here, I have no idea, but rather like the weekly round, the silence on transfer news, and the Player of the Year awards etc. etc .I expect we’ll hear little …… until the begging letters drop on our doormats. Some of our players should be pretty ashamed, but lets just hope someone has some answers to this lot!!!.

Of course you can go lower. I’m not saying you will but all sports have had teams that have been considered to good to go down. It’s attitudes like yours that lead to disaster.
