I’ve watched him closely since mid part of the season and during a game he hardly communicates or directs anything or anyone. You look at other coaches and they are all constantly talkirng and making notes etc but Hodgson just looks like a wax work dummy. There is a real lack of direction and it starts or rather stops with him as head coach.
I was in the West stand today and could see Hodgson stood on the touchline arms folded all game. He didn't interact with anyone as far as I could see for the entire match. He looked like he'd won a competition to be there. He's a complete joke.

Michael Maguire's record in the NRL looks poor (I don't know enough about the NRL to know if there's any other circumstances involved in that) but he did well previously in Super League. He'd surely be better than what he have now.
He just had no clue or answers to anything and it’s alarming. To go into next season with Hodgson still at the helm will cost the club and Pearson massively and it could be a mistake that there is no recovering from. There is no identity or in the team or any aspect. Instead of player the lads who played well and showed desire against Toulouse Hodgson brought back Houghton, McIntosh and continued with Johnstone who for me along with Gale and Smith were appalling.
The club is in a relegation battle already next season if Hodgson stays on as Coach. The likes of Hoy, Trueman, Sutcliffe and Dwyer ain’t going make much difference under the current Coach and our second row looks so weak it’s unreal.
Another season wasted season and next season will pretty much be the same by giving an out of his depth guy the chance to pick players for next season.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!
This season's abject failure sits squarely at Hodgson's feet and the ensuing loss of club revenue sits squarely at Pearson's for propagating this farce.
The squad that Hodgson has assembled has no right to challenge for the big prizes, but it is emphatically better then the dross we've supported and painfully swallowed.
I'm happy, with what we have, to accept we would lose more then win, but in those losses they should be gallant defeats.
The team are unmotivated, confused and do not fear any consequence to bad performance.
I dont buy into this "rot" in the club. A RL player has a short and finite career and they cant gamble with having bad seasons and poor application. They are badly instructed and managed.
Hodgson out. Now.

Who's out there
To be quite honest don’t think we would or could be any worse if we asked the tea lady to take over from Hodgson/Purtill/Ellis for the impact or difference they made or make.
