Yes, the Bibby and Livett deals fail to push any buttons for me also - but trust in Watson we must!
I think these young lads, like Wardle, just get their heads turned by agents. They see the big money, but not the bigger picture.
But you're right, if you contrast what Wardle seems to be willing to do with what Leroy has done since his injury - absolute poles apart.
Leroy's answer to only playing a handful of games (while on massive money), was to come back on something like 50% and repay the club, by putting in a massive shift - week in week out.
Let's hope that some of these exciting young players coming through will develop the same ethos.

Watson seems to be saying that recruitment for next year is complete and he is happy with what the team will look like, I think we are at least a winger and halfback short of challenging for honours. Assuming Wardle is going elsewhere, who would you recruit to complete the team? In a dream scenario (and not to break the bank) i would love to see:

1) Lewis Murphy to partner Jerry on the wings with Innes as cover
2) Brodie Croft as a running half to partner Fages with Russell as cover

Couldn't better that to be honest.
Lewis Murphy has an incredible strike rate, especially for a player in a struggling team.
And Brodie Croft? We'd be talking the Wally Gibson / Deano / Broughy effect on our team and pushing Saints all the way.
All in good time I'm hoping!

Murphy may well come home yet. Can’t see him staying at Wakefield for long. He must already have clubs sniffing round. At least he’s another one that looks to be seeing out his current contract!!!
Maybe when pryce goes end of next year we may look at a player like Croft. Be good to unearth one of our own!

Yet another Newsome Panther who’s made it to superleague.
That particular Huddersfield club has a knack of developing talent- even though they don’t have the reputation, facilities, or cash- of the fax club siddal who are constantly name dropped on SKY.

According to the newspaper, Watson was very keen on signing King permanently, Wire turned round and said no, have let King sign a season long deal at Wigan & Jake Wardle will be back in a Giants shirt next season, which I think is great news.

That's good news.
Wardle and marsters potentially then to play in the centres. Marsters seems to have an issue defensively so that could be a worry.
Jerry, Innes as wingers with naiqama leroy and golding cover across the backs. bibby possible also
wonder whether leutele will be at leeds, wigan or leigh.

Or Catalan or NRL, I'm hoping it's the latter, Leutele will be a massive loss to this team, he's been outstanding this season, I'm gutted we haven't been able to come to agreement with him to stay on.
