It's been churning out the same "we'll be top dogs imminently" rhetoric for well over a decade, during which time we've won 2 major trophies and they've broken the CC final losing margin record and been relegated. Crikey.

That said with 16 missing for us it would be unthinkable for them not to win back the bragging rights at the weekend. The big red machine and international winger are ready to wreak havoc. Pray for us.

TV isn't interested in our dead rubber but I'll be honest ..I would love to beat you all the same with our £1million plus salary cap on the sidelines.

Whether we do or don't Rovers are on the up and you are in decline, next year will be the year people remember as the year when Rovers took over as top dogs in the city.

Takes more than putting a jacket tatie van at the side of the pitch to become top dogs

Need a hot dog van for that!

Can't see a win in this one, looking at their squad today it looks fairly strong just think the players out will be too much. Parcell and Lewis will tear us to bits.

Lewis is out for the season and Parcell went off injured.

Both teams have plenty out, but I'll be disappointed if we don't win this one.

Anyone know what Swift's injury is? Think I saw a picture of him in a boot still?

Was it like a bruised bone or something? He's got a plate in his leg from a previous break that was aggravated from a knock against Wire.

Sounds painful

I presume the Bookies are already paying out on a Rover’s Grand Final and Challenge Cup Final Double next season. It’s like printing money!

It’s the Annual “we’ll be top dogs” post.

In reality that will never happen anyway. They’re a club that can’t match our current or potential support. Never have, never will.

They’re also under the illusion that buying a cut price, ageing, three sided stadium (and some burger vans) will catapult them into the upper echelons of world rugby.

Wasn’t it Liam Watts who said that when he was at the Dobbins, the aim was to beat Hull, but when he was at Hull the aim was to win trophies? Says it all.

Our crocked XIII;

Walker
Swift
Tuimavave
Griffin
McIntosh
Lovadua
Wynne

Brown
Houghton
Ma'u
Savelio
Severs
Cator

If we had another injured halfback I think our injured XIII is better than Rovers' First 13.
