We need to keep Longstaff. Really like the kid. Did anyone else see Navarrette 'headbutt' him in the second half? Should've been a red for me. Very similar to the Watts incident a few seasons ago. Anyway, the next time Navarrette got the ball, Longstaff hit him with everything. He's got a great attitude and commitment.

.

Think everyone saw the headbutt except the TJ and the referee

Can be the only explanation as to why he wasn’t sent off?

The big thing about when Longstaff hit him at the next tackle. He did it LEGALLY! No penalty given away. Just a good solid hit :SUBMISSION:

Think he’s got 3 years on him and you’re right about the NCL it’s a tough physical league for young forwards to play in. I get the idea of the reserves league but think prop is the position where players benefit more from playing against seasoned old pros instead of players around their own age.

Does he ever? He really is a total Muppet. Of course everyone is allowed an opinion and he hides behind that to slag Hull FC. Players Coaches off all the time.

Yeh, far too good for us apparently. Maybe he’s one of Powell’s “bad apples”.

What's everyone's opinion on cam scott. I thought he had bulked up a bit ,ran some good lines, was good after contact but just not sure he is going to be a quality centre, once or twice he could have put litten away but chose to take the tackle. I think he could make a good loose forward especially the way we use the 13

Definitely think Longstaff Is worth giving a deal too if Warrington are willing to let him go. In a team that’s struggled and lacked creativity and attitude Longstaff has shown plenty of effort, attitude snd endeavour and certainly hits above his weight. He looks to be enjoying his time at Hull too. Still only young at 20 but shown plenty of potential, the right attitude and prepared to get stuck in.
As I said earlier thought all the young charges showed up well along with Mitch and Scott. This was a game that Gale should have easily delivered a performance but sadly he was found wanting again and his pass selection and end of set plays were poor especially the number of hospital passes he threw today. Even Taylor had a fairly decent game along with Lane which only highlights Gale not standing out both as an experienced half but as a captain. Connor seemed to do more talking and guidance to the young lads out there than the captain himself.
Thought Ligi was also very good and put a huge shift in.
Overall a pleasing and deserved win

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

There were tribes in outer Mongolia that knew FC would win this. I add my name to the list and a healthy return from the 'Tips and Tabs' bookies that I use on Spring Bank.

The one that matters is the Derby! there is nothing else to talk about for me - 'let's be havin ya'

I have lost interest
