He said he likes it here but also has family to consider and repeated that a couple of times. Reading between the lines I got the impression he wants to stay but will go for those reasons.

Agreed, and i think we will but i still want a flying winger rather than a Miski/Ryan Hall type so still want Quare-Quare too or is it 'Gary-Gary' or as somebody mentioned Murphy would do too. Right wing has been a vital position for us this season, we need to make sure the person we put in there has plenty of pace.

Don’t think we’ve seen enough of Qareqare to take a punt on him. Lewis Murphy should be the one we’re looking at if we’re going for a winger.

I read it as "if I can get my family sorted here, then I'll stay"........so that may/may not happen and he may/may not stay?

I understand that the club have offered to get his brother a job in the UK.

Ultimately I think French has to decide if he takes the higher cash offer from Wigan to getting back home to his family and having far less certainty of regular first team rugby. It's obviously a difficult decision for the lad and I just hope that he makes the right decision for himself.
I really hope he stays but if he goes home I will wish him all the best and thank him for some brilliant memories.

I am not surprised by his indecision but pretty amazed that the club are willing to not put some time limit on his decision. I suppose that could be interpreted that the club values French so much but also, hopefully, that we have some quality options in the pipeline if he does decide to leave.

A lot of if’ I’d be interested know if French stays and we sort his brother out with a job if that has any salary cap implications.

Sod getting him a job. Just play him centre so we can keep Bevan on the wing.

Seems like Bevan going home isn’t as cut and dried as suggested. It’s definitely not a done deal…..
