It’s even worse in championship where refs just arent good enough. Just watch hallas and Flanagan at bradfraud

It’s a shame that the game was decided by a try by Austin who is becoming the worst cheap shot, late tackle, sly dig when third in the tackle merchant. He’s starting to make Bentley look like he’s cleaned his act up.
The Sezer sin binning was probably fair enough but an absolutely split second issue. Any tackle can look like premeditated violence when shown in slow motion but poor technique by Sezer. Looking at the three game ban for Hood for something similar but not spotted by officials or commentators he could be in for the same.
By contrast Hill had all the time in the world to lift off or roll off Myler but bizarrely chose to wrap his arms around and start lifting. The suggestions that Myler managed to stand on his head, lift his legs and lift Hill upright are laughable. He may have milked it but Hill clearly lifted him.

The disciplinary is going to be very interesting on this one one in respect to the law of bio mechanics.

Very acrobatic by Myler made the situation a lot worse, mugged Hill good and proper.

Give over! Myler looked like he was in the school PE hall trying to do a handstand against the wall!! Blatant cheating if I ever saw it and deserves a ban for it.

As far as Austin, he's never been any different - once a cheap shot grub, always a cheap shot grub. Sezer was just unlucky - yes, it was 10 mins but shouldn't be anything more as not much he could do.

I don't normally agree with Phil Clarke but he was spot on with his comments. As for Wilkin, down right embarrassing! Watson described it perfect in his after match interview but, knowing the RFL, he'll probably be fined for it!

Stop it your embarrassing yourself. People seeing what they want to see because its a Leeds Player and Leeds won, ask yourself this, if Hill did that to your teams player and got away with it would you be saying the same no you wouldn’t you would be outraged. Hill lifts him and then drops him, regardless off what Myler does or does not do, Hill didn’t need to do it he could have just let go.

I don’t think either are going to get anywhere near winning SL. It’s like watching amateur rugby league…but an entertaining amateur rugby league game!

To much one out football from the Giants, but this is the Ian Watson way. The same when he was head coach at the Red Devils.
At times when they should be going for the jugular they just keep playing out their 6 tackles. Risk free football.

As a Huddersfield fan i totally agree with this. Cost us the cup final too, handing the ball over on the 6th tackle instead of going for the try that would have killed the game. It's the one element of what Watson has brought to us that i dislike and really want to see changed. In relation to cheating, it really has got out of hand. For me the thing i dislike most is where a player thinks there is even a sniff of a high tackle having been made on them that isn't seen, they will then feign injury to get the game stopped so the video ref has chance to review it and possibly issue a penalty. Really poor, Levi does it for us a lot (he's an amazing player, but needs to stop it) and there are many others on other teams that do likewise. The problem is, how do you penalise a player who says they are injured, how can you rule has or has not caused damage to the player? Very tough area
