Does anyone have any idea what Nobby is doing in his advisory role? Also if there is any plan to give him a permanent gig? Would it improve us at all? Even if he took over from Dunning?
I can't see how he's what we need at the level we are at. Plus is it worth coming back to clubs where you had great success. Ask Jimmy Lowes and Leon Pryce. I'd also say that given he was heard muttering to himself at the fans forum when someone said we are unfit, then you can add being in denial to the reasons against.

Can't help but think the Brian Noble advisory role is just a sop to disgruntled supporters. We've heard absolutely nothing from him or the club about what he's contributed since it was announced. So much so that some fans on Facebook are calling for him to be brought back and don't even realise he's supposedly been on board for some time!
His dismissal of criticism about player fitness at the fans forum was disappointing and showed me that he either hadn't watched us play this season or as you state was in denial.

Seems fairly obvious to me that he was brought in alongside the MD permanent coach announcement to soften the blow that we decided not to go for the numerous other candidates from all over the globe and stick with MD.
I’m not sure anyone outside of the club would really know how much input he has. He could just be on the other end of the phone if needed or particularly picking next year’s recruits and anything in between. The clubs being pretty quiet on it

Dunning clearly needs help with the workload, this has been covered in several interviews with Mick. Noble's name has never come up at all in terms of helping with that workload so he must be doing something else. You have to wonder what.

As I understand Noble is heavily involved in recruitment and if the rumour posted of the young Cas winger coming on loan and this is as a result of his relationship with Redford, that’s a massive plus for me!

If we do some how manage to get QareQare, he'll rip the league up. Wouldn't expect him to stay the season.

As discussed in The Egerton Arms in Salford (a railway station pub that is a melting pot for many different affiliations in various sports) last night with Hornets Neil & Pies Daz:
What has Nobby actually done since leaving The Bulls?
a) a scandal at Wigan b) "Promoted sideways" by Koukash whilst at Salford c) advisor at Broncos (sadly now in a parlous state) d) advisor at Gloucester All Golds - a club that has since gone even further, errrm, south e) Head of Rugby at the doomed to failure (and sanctioned by Wood & Rimmer) Toronto Wolfpack (bet the unpaid John Wilkin loves bumping into him on TV summarising duty!!!) f) unspecified sinecure back at Bulls
Conclusion: a hanger on at best, otherwise a leech.
If, God forbid, MacBull_BBB's horror scenario on the "Rimmer Going" thread is proven true, the sky will be black with the wings of chickens coming home to roost.
Bradford sadly (especially for the fans) just can't get rid of these pests.

You might find his relationship with Steve McNamara comes in handy as well. Watch this space....
