In the play offs Sky and channel 4 are apparently showing the same game.

Could I suggest that everyone watches the game in Sky as something of a silent protest .
For years Sky have downgraded the game with very poor presentation and commentators .
Tonight we had Barrie Mc saying I am glad I don’t play the game now after a piece of foul play indicating that it is not worth watching

Then Jon Wilkin after all the other pundits were condemning Myler for milking a penalty saying it was wonderful .

What sort of reputational damage are these two muppets doing to the game .

When would a RU commentator during a game so clearly put their own game down.

Obviously people will want to watch games but do it on C4 and let’s not give the sky muppets extra credibility

Not sure I (or anyone else) will understand this ...

No idea what this is about. Sky have the first choice play off games, C4 each week are left with the game Sky didn't choose.

I read today that Sky and channel 4 are both showing the same game at the same time

Maybe I misread it after too many shandy’s !

I don't think you misread it. I think your mistake was in reading anything on SARL.

According to RLonTV Sky have first choice (Friday) games, C4 the second choice (Sunday) games.

There's no indication there will be any simulcasting.

It's a mixed bag on SKY for me, I think Genna is great always lively and having an Australian lady on screen breaks up the old British men vibe.

Brian Carney still has things to learn as a presenter but an Irish voice again adds something a bit different to the coverage.

I respect JJB for his career but he just can't speak clearly enough and needs to go.

Barry and Terry are now from another era, it's not far off 20 years since they played and they reneforce a northern game for northern people stereotype.

Overall my biggest annoyance is they try and overhype every game or issue, I know for obvious reasons they can't be honest and say about 3 teams have a chance of winning SL and the rest are making the numbers up...but theres a middle ground between that and making the battle for 6th sound like the Super Bowl.

Agreed. I can't stomach the build up to the game. I just switch on at the beginning to get a news update from Jenna, then switch off until kick off. During the game, Mark Wilson has been good at commentating, but the rest are dreadful.

People wanting Eddie and stevo out was one of the biggest Careful what you wish for I've ever seen

Since they left the commentary is awful and seen more exciting voices in a graveyard than the lot who took over
