We toughed that one out last night. It was 2 closely matched teams who were backing up on a short turnaround and you could tell. The standard wasn't great but at least it was tight. We lacked punch when Tetevano and Mik went off, Prior tackled well but gives no go forward. Thought we lacked a bit outwide when Sutcliffe went off both defensively and in attack, Briscoe did ok but he's been out a long time.
Referee was very poor for both sides i thought, he let the ruck get messy and slow all game. From our side perspective, the 2 yellows were really soft, particularly Sezer, he was very unlucky and can see why he went to tackle the man, neither are bans, if they get a ban its an outrage.
Anyway, that was a big win all things considered. Great atmosphere at the end with the winning try, brilliant drama.

If I was GH I’d be getting my solicitor ready
I hope I'm not sticking my neck out to say there is zero chance of Myler getting a ban for that. The hysteria is laughable.
"Brian McDermott, with a wry smile, nods when asked if he remembers a specific incident which made him realise he was a prick. 'I do', he murmurs."

Who knows with the state the game is now in. Why is every 'expert' failing to mention that regardless of Myler pushing up with his feet, it’s still a penalty for messing about in the ruck, something Hudds did all night?
If anything comes of this, a massive can of worms will have opened.
My favourite quotes though are......'as a neautral I’m disgusted with Myler blah blah blah.......Joyce (Saints fan)
It's absolutely laughable, myler milks it in the same way players do all game when someone's lying on them they fight to get up. Hill is clearly gripping myler around the waist, Watson would have a point if mylers jumped in the air with noone near him.

It’s ridiculous that people are even talking about what Myler is alleged to have done. He was being held down in the tackle, a tactic that Hudds employed all night long and I don’t recall them being penalised for it once. Hill clearly has his arms around Myler when he’s trying to get up, and that’s about all there is to it.
It's not how much talent you've got, it's what you do with it that counts.

This is the point for me. There’s a witch hunt brewing for myler mainly based on Clark, Wilkin, and Watson. Three blokes who love a whinge. But it is disregarding the fact this is going on in nearly every tackle atm, with some worse than others, including poster boy tomkins where it is ignored on the regular.
