I understand that we were no longer welcome at Ealing, we returned in 2021 under sufferance, but 2022 at Trailfinders was not an option.

Nothing else was mentioned.....not training facilities, not location, nothing other than the pipe dream of SL barring us (didn't in 2019??) and corporates......and guess what, the uptake is as poop or worse than it was at Ealing and Loubser, Monkey and Hughes are left looking like fools.....absolute fools, but Hughes will NEVER ADMIT HE MADE AN ERROR.

Because of the way the ground is set up eg all in one stand with corporate hidden out of sight in a higher and wholly separate tier it’s really difficult to get a sense of how well corporate is doing. My instinct is similar to yours. One positive from this weird and unsatisfying season is there are so many learning points. If we have recruited people who know their stuff we should be in a much better place next year. The downside is a lot of damage has been done this season with the way it started, match day experience, shambolic customer engagement/comms, playing squad etc so they have a lot of work to do but, as I’ve said before, Eccles has been able to get a decent standard of performance out of the squad and the social media stuff is now much more buzzy and of the standard so it can be done. Do I fancy getting a season ticket for next year? Hmmm, not sure. This massive gap in the season is a bit of a deal breaker for me and I’ve now missed two of our better performances because they took place smack dab in the middle of the peak holiday period. My ST got me to Widnes, Haven, Thunder- truly dreadful performances. York and Bradford- so,so to poor at best. Sheffield frighteningly bad and then excitingly good and Dewsbury and Workington decent, solid performances against slightly weaker sides. Value for money wise the argument is difficult to make.

That is a real shame. But not surprising.

Artificial surface meant no mid season relocation / cluster of away games on the trot, possibility of double or triple headers ( mens', womens', academy teams) on a regular basis, year on year gradual improvement in facilities. Being close to the new Crossrail / Liz line giving a better travel option for some of us, especially out East.

Oh well, Hughes knows best doesn't he? Doesn't he?????

Shake your chains to earth like dew
Which in sleep had fallen on you--

Why would you get a season ticket when you know by July they will be offering tickets for less than £10 to get people in. The only way I would be persuaded to get a season ticket again would be at £150 max, considering how they have shafted ST holders last 2 seasons

He explained that we were moving to 1.Wimbledon to prepare for SL, 2. sell corporate hospitality and 3. build to 5,000 fans.
He also said that 4. it would seem at times like it wasn't working/going to plan.....

Well, he got one of them right.....although the word "seem" would be surplus to requirements.

From the blurb surrounding sponsorship in 2023 we are sticking with Wimbledon. I await a statement from the CEO or Chairman explaining the thought process here.....the only plus I can see is that there's a very good chance that NOBODY within 5 miles of the ground knows we are here and we can relaunch locally in 2023.
I still await an apology to lapsed, banned and abused fans who were subject to the alcoholic whims of a senior staff member in 2022.
To be fair to the new commercial guy, he seems to be trying to do everything by the numbers with the brochure of what's available up, the club shop no longer linked to the sweat shop in Bradford and a regular (if pub side image) email......but he will learn that it's a thankless task unless Hughes employs a marketing manager/agency and allocates budget......and I don't mean loving adverts in Metro in mid January.......
