That would be ideal, as would give is another non fed place to being in maybe another forward or keep Smith (although not too sure about him, after initially impressing).

McNamara will likely be the only specialist back up half which I find worrying as Trueman will probably miss the first few games.
Got Hookem as well, but, nit sure where his futures lies, personally think he is a better prospect than McNamara, but think the club rate McNaramara more.
I also like both the academy halfbacks, Harman reminds me of Paul Cooke and Medforth looks a great all-round halfback, both still young though (17, so have another year in the academy)

Too injury prone, wont be cheap either, unless Leeds would pay some of his salary.
Think we are Ok at FB, Hoy has to be first choice FB the way he is performing in first grade NRL in that position, plus Connor and Litten.
If any position I would sign would be a 7, we still lack a real specialist 7 and with the likelihood of Connor going at the 2nd of next season, we could move Trueman to 6. but they isn't much available in SL and I'm not sure I'd use a non fed spot on a 7.

Hes got 1 more year on his deal at Leeds. Maybe we could offer him 2 years for less money? I completely take the injury prone thing. Even I've said he's made of biscuit, and would still be at Leeds if that wasn't the case.
Would Gale stay for 1 more season as a squad player? I'd let him go, but we might trigger his second year

It's a shame McNamara has missed so many games because he started the season well and was progressing nicely.
I don't think he'll ever be first choice but he could develop into a solid squad player.
As you say is Hookem a half or hooker? probably hooker as we are short in that position....

Agree with you about Smith, appreciate he was moved around a bit but as an experienced player he was totally anonymous against Wakefield. Our last quota space has got to be used on an out and out 2nd rower.
