Bit of a side note, but interesting to see that Trueman has been named in the England Knights squad for the friendlies in October considering it was thought he would miss the start of next season.

33 at the start of next season, so too old IMO.

They've named Connor Wrench too, he did his ACL 2/3 weeks ago. Think it's just to keep them in and around the squad

Whilst I am not a massive fan of Hodgson, I like his recruitment Out Reynolds, Gale, JJ, Ma'u and Bowden In Hoy, Trueman, Sutcliffe, Dywer. If we can add a decent overseas backrower, move on Shaul and maybe Griffin (Longstaff) then I think we have done very good business. It would then be as much Hodgson's team and with younger, quicker and more motivated players he can have no excuses next season. Ideally I bring in another conditioning team too.

Not heard anything.
Benjamin Julien still without a deal. Him and Longstaff would give us plenty of options in the back row along with Savelio, Lane and Severs

Agree Dave. Hopefully can add Shaul and Griffin to the departures too.
