Nothing against signing King for the right price, he would be an upgrade on Bibby imo and hopefully we could get his 2019/2020 form back and we would have one of the best centres in the league. We just don’t want to be taking on his reported current big wage.
My issue is if this is instead of Wardle then that’s a downgrade and also strengthens Warrington if he signs for them.

You’d imagine wherever King goes Warrington will be contributing to the salary (like they are with Cooper this season).

He signed a big contract and his form has nosed dived.

Seems a bit untenable him going back to Wire, so would make sense.

It won’t be instead of Wardle.

The thought of having Wardle and King as our centres is an exciting one. I don’t see it happening though unless French is definitely off.

I’d think Huddersfield would be his most likely destination.

It's not nosed dived, he just was never really any good. Terrible on defence and his only attacking strength is catching a high bomb. Fair play to his agent who managed to get him the contract he did. Utter lunacy from wire!
