A couple of 50/50s didn't go our way, but I doubt it would have made any difference. Wakey always in control and the scoreline flattered us.

Gaskell was as surprised as us to be hit on the head by the ball when he was about 2m in front of Barron who was stationary with his arms out to catch the ball.

No issue with it hitting Gaskell on the head but for me he took Barron out without the ball. Gaskell seemed to be going for an Oscar the way he held his had as though he’d been hit by a brick. Thought the one when Gaskell lost the ball with a loose carry was poor call too and has that been anywhere else if the pitch it would more than likely been given as a knock on. Wouldn’t have made any difference to us either decision as we never looked liked being in the contest and doubt we’ll win again this season.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

The club since Agar was made Head Coach after Sharp has been crying out for a top coach and I can’t believe that Pearson seems so reluctant to spend money on sorting that out yet is prepared to throw good money after bad on players that just don’t play or perform.

I sat in Stadium Australia in 2018 at the end of a great holiday watching a youthful FC push St George to the hooter (yes ok it was a pre season friendly for them) and naively sat thinking we had a great crop of young players coming through and a bright future.

Since then those young players have either faded into the Championship or early retirement or become bench warmers. We then had an injury run and settled into this pattern of dropping off at the end of the season and here we are 4.5 years and 2 different head coaches on.

Complete mismanagement of the club and while I'm forever grateful for his investment Pearson has to take responsibility.

Think you're going a bit far here. I think Brett was a good choice in the circumstances if we were looking for a young up-and-coming coach. Unfortunately, Brett does not have "IT" so the club need to cut it's losses and move on... Painful for everyone, but that's life. I believe that the club are doing everything possible to improve the youth system.

Back home. TV and Sky box switched on. Press green for planner and yellow for delete.

God knows how many times I've done that in the last few years.

We haven't had an experienced Head Coach since Kear, it was a gamble for Pearson to hire another assistant after Gentle, Radford and Last he has to take responsibility.

Wakey not even that good. Would have been another 50+ against a good team.

Without Connor in the backs = Nothing
Without Satae in the forwards = Nothing

Clueless players, clueless coaching.

Sorry, but he had done absolutely nothing at Wests to class him as a up and coming coach.

Really felt for your young winger tonight.

He was unlucky to be opposite Murphy who was head and shoulders last year academy competitions standout winger and has pretty much got the better of most seasoned wingers in SL opposite him this season.

The one think he can take from it is that Murphy made a few errors on his debut. He has been excellent since so the young lad hopefully is looked after with some words of encouragement by Hull.

Though Murphy I watched in academy and he’s like a new Tom Johnstone.

Personally thought Wakey were average today and we took the foot off the gas that last quarter. Not sure what’s happening at Hull. The amount of injuries though have to play a part.

Top six 2005 - Trinity.

True, but to be fair to Gale he did chip in with 2 try assists off his boot tonight.....but only because the Wakey defenders made an absolute horlicks of them both.
Thought his kicking game was below average again tonight, same as in most of the games he's appeared for us since signing.
