Real shame the injury problems Thornley has had. I think he’s been promising in between them but has never found any rhythm because of them. We need more option so at centre for next year but it’ll be good to have him in the mix.

If wardle signs we could do with having wardle and Halsall first choice. Thornley as a rotation

French outside Wardle would be nice.

One of them will have to shift wings.

Good potential for Wardle and Halsall to be our centre combo for a good while if Wardle comes in. They’re two proper centres. They can carry the ball well but play with their heads up and it would be the first time in a while we’d have two centres who can feed their wingers. Fingers crossed it comes off.
