Was Watson seen as a poor coach at Hudds last season?

Both have been backed massively in turning the squads around and player turn over. Hodgson hasn't had the same luxury, we are getting rid of them in dribs and drabs, the 2 above have done it in one season.
Powell & Watson both have 'money in the bank' due to their time at Cas & Salford. Hodgson hasn't proved anything.

That's a fair point, and to Daves point about Pearson being too loyal to coaches, he definitely is, but without his loyalty we probably wouldn't have seen those cup wins in 16/17.

I don't know what that answer is tbh, I feel like I'm on the opposite side of the fence to most posters on here, in that I'd stick with BH for this off season. Why would the core group of players act differently for anyone else?

Saying that, he needs a big start to next season otherwise he'll have his OBE.

Powell should of done more at cas

Apart from a dinner plate did nothing with a very good squad

Will Hodgson be a good coach I have my doubts

But this is 100% on the players conceding 60 points 4 or 5 times a season is a disgrace

Guess what the similar players did the same under radders aswell

Have it on very good authority, that at half time of the game on Sunday, the Saints players and coach were just sitting in silence, listening to the arguing from the Hull FC players between themselves for pretty much the whole HT period. Then, Woolf just said, go out and enjoy the next 40 minutes - they knew nothing was coming back at them from Hull

It's his money, but he must know the fans won't keep paying to see what is been served up on the pitch.

We need a big finish to the season and couple more signings to persuade me to get a pass for next season.

It's similar players who threw radford under a bus losing by 80 at wire hammered at wakey

About time fingers are pointed at the players

I'm with you on this point. I'm just not convinced that a new coach would make the required difference. Our collapses have happened under too many coaches for it just be the coaches fault.
He still needs to convince me he is the man for the job but the amount of cap in the stands buys him a little more time for me. The squad does look better on paper next year with potentially more changes to come. A big start definitely needed next year and I think more importantly a solid finish to next season. These late season drop offs have to stop.

Surprised they cared enough to argue

Looked like they couldn’t be bothered to show any of that on the pitch?

Would someone like Mick Potter fit the bill? Previous head coach, done a decent job of turning the Bulldogs around, might fancy another head coaches job?

Or a wild card, Craig Lingard at Batley?

Easy to be wise after the event but should have gone for Fitzgibbon a couple of years ago.

He has done wonders at Cronulla in a short space of time.

Wouldn’t be averse to Mick Potter?
