The club are offering £10 tickets with a voucher from the examiner for the game

Cas will definitely fancy themselves for this one, they have been playing well, are due to get a few bodies back this week whilst our last few performances have been poor. We are also on a short turn around.
I'm afraid these poor starts have been disappointing, and where we have shown resilience to get back into games against Hull and warrington and further back against toulouse and wakefield we have got complacent when we have gone behind against certain teams. We cannot do that again!
We need to start strong and show intent from the start. Our outside backs need to be a LOT better than they were against Salford (leroy aside)Cas will try and go round us as salford did. Our kicking game needs to be much better than it was too.
Don't think we are due anyone back unless golding is fit. There was an issue with a potential crusher - not sure who that was but salford got a penalty so we may cop a ban for that. anything else -----spin the wheel.......

edit- it was ashworth with the crusher and wilson may be in trouble for a high tackle - cas have westerman and matagi may be in trouble for high tackles - watch this space.
luckily we have lawrence and english ready to step in if needed.

Another test of whether we have turned into a team that can bounce back from a poor performance, last few times we have managed it. I actually think this one is beyond us with the backline we are putting out at the moment but we will see.

Matagi and Milner banned. Along with Watts ban and Massey injured leaves us real short in the forwards. Probably play a couple of young lads from the bench. Backs look a little better with the return of Turner but still missing Evalds and Trueman.

Tough game for us especially with a couple of your guys back.

We are desperate for a win though to try stay clear of Leeds and Salford but not sure we can.

The current weather forecast is looking pretty dire for the game which will suit us and our forwards who can dominate rather than Cas and the expansive game they would prefer to play.
I’m sure Cas will make the playoffs but I’m hoping we make them wait a bit longer.

Great response in the end, and Wakefield must be liking what they saw of L Senior tonight. Thought Cas handed it to us with their mistakes to be honest, but can only play whats in front of you and was a really good second half. Lolohea is so dangerous with his short kicking game, he will run , step and only when defenders have moved up to deal with his footwork does he put the kick in, so hard to defend.

Loved Watson disagreeing with Jon Wells choice of MoM and Wells throwing his dummy out.

Louis was excellent. His defence was superb, he didn't put a foot wrong, backed himself brilliantly for the try. Felt like a proud dad seeing him celebrate his try, he's done it tough this year he deserved that moment. He could be a real player if he gets some time at KR next year

First half we were abysmal weren't we, second half much improved, helped by cas also being abysmal, in the abysmal conditions

A bit shaky at the start due to our indiscipline and errors- we let a few chances go begging and could /should have been further in front at half time. We were at the game but I watched the half time “chat” on the tv- it was noticeable the difference in the body language from the dressing rooms. We looked very calm
And positive, Cas were only one score behind but their body language looked bad- players with heads in hands, heads bowed, slumped in seats etc.
A stronger second half from us , the revival started by the inevitable knock on from Eden at fullback  we’ve seen him do that a few times at our ground haven’t we!!!!
Once they got into their groove we just kept going, Cas clearly tired and we took full advantage- what a difference leutele back made. He will be very difficult to replace!
Louis was very assured and looked a lot more confident than Last week. Our three quarter line as it was organised just worked better tonight and kept Cas well marked most of the game. Yatesy was an absolute rock, hewitt was as solid as ever, good to see matty back who put in some strong runs, as did greenwood and hill.
Tui was sky MOM and McQueen home MOM but I thought Russell was very good he directed things very well and sent the ball exactly where it needed to be.
Still not a full 80 minute performance but a handy 2 points and we are in the playoffs!!!
