Rushton announced for huddersfield, 3 year deal from next season. Really good signing for them, looking like they intend to be a force for years to come. Hopefully it starts paying back in higher attendences for them.

A bit more entertainment value might help Huddersfield get larger attendances. Having said that I'm not convinced there's that much potential for growth there. The turnout at the cup final was quite telling.

Glad he is not coming back to Wigan sick of them all wanting to go Australia and then expect to come straight back to Wigan should have stopped here in the first place, the grass is not always greener on the other side.

John Bateman? James Graham? Most players that go over there don’t come back.

Most of those that only had bit-part careers in the NRL don't really come back any worse (Sarge, Jordan Turner).

Hardaker and Tomkins both won MOS awards after coming back didn't they? Tomkins was a different player, but still the best in the league.

I can only think of one player who went over there and played out his full RL career - Sam Burgess. Everyone else has come back at some point - many after not all that long.

I suspect KPP will make it big over there and be an NRL player long term but he's definitely someone I'd hope we have 'first option' on (almost a Wigan trademark now).
