I’m sure this is just seed money they’re applying for. The rfl still seem really keen for a national stadium - how much infrastructure money did they get for the World Cup? £12m? Council are pushing for this to be a community asset to help with childhood activity & health so that should draw some public health funds. Do the FA have infrastructure money that City could use if the council are really offering City a slot in the multi sport stadium?
I wouldn’t get too excited given the state of the current climate and the recession on the horizon. Bradford also isn’t a popular area to throw cash at as we’ve seen time and again over the years.
BUT my god if it came off… plus it is exactly the type of thing that Nigel would ride on the coat tails of. Let’s be honest, he usually ends up landing on top (queue weight based jokes…)

100%. You only have to look at the lack of exciment amnongst the Bulls comunity since the image was released. Id say it barely even caused a ripple. We are all to long in the tooth now to give a toss about another pie in the sky scheme. Ill start and get interested once we see the bulldozers moving in.

Not even then. Didn't the bulldozers move in under Caisley and we decided to take control of the stadium from the council. That turned out well.
