That is my argument,we have won the only trophy on offer so far.

So by that same logic Everton are a better team than City as they have won more trophies in their history?

What about Villa. They’ve won more European Cups than City too. Are they a better team now?

Wigan are the most successful Club in history way better than St Helens.

However it can only be this season we can talk about and you lot are top of the league (not the hubcap holders yet) so you havnt won anything yet but we have got the only trophy to be won.

Last year you was the best team as you had won the GF but this season so far you have won- nothing, ziltch, zero etc etc.

Which doesnt mean either side are better, Saints are better full strength (see Good Friday when we couldnt get out of our own half after 20 mins) but does that mean we can't beat them in a big game or grand final - absolutely not .

I am cringing reading some of these posts. Cant wait for schools to go back so Jason can go back

Exactly that mate. Wigan are more than capable of beating us in the big dance. Yes they are the most successful club, indeed I’ll even admit that they are a bigger club than us (hurts to say it but it’s true)

That still doesn’t mean they are suddenly a better team after one CC Final win this season.

Fair post. The very chance that we could beat you in the big dance has fans like myself optimistic and excited about the end of the year. A far cry from last year under Lam. What’s more is the fact that saints have had Dodd injured all year, they were looking pretty unbeatable and were playing scintillating stuff when he was fit.

I wouldn’t rule out Leeds or Salford upsetting either of our teams in a one off game also FWIW.

dont patronise me as i am only having a laugh and defending Wigan.
Anyone who says not one player from Wigan needs to be ridiculed (not Stu),or any one who says Saints are 100% a better team when with a full squad (what team has ?) needs to be brought to task.

So you dont need to cringe just have a good chuckle with the comments, I do !

Its getting boring and tiresome this. I don't give a s**t about your errors or penalties stats. I didn't even look at missed tackles or any other stats. My point is that at no point during the game other than perhaps after French's final try with little time left did I feel that we would lose that game. Had I been given a charity bet in play at any time during the game (bar the above) I would've bet on Saints as I thought we were the better team. No metrics, no stats, just my own thoughts. You have yours, I have mine and that's it.

Hopefully we can move on now and this isn't mentioned again.

I'd have preferred it wasn't mentioned in the first place to be honest. You were replying to a post I made to someone else so there was no need for you to become involved at all but, as ever, you couldn't keep your unfounded opinions to yourself when it comes to super dooper Saints, could you? You chose to stick your oar in so don't play the injured party now!

Final thoughts on the subject provided you can actually do what you say and stop posting (which I seriously doubt). You have an opinion that you can't back up with any concrete stats or metrics yet you want everyone else to agree with you because it's what you think. Guess what? Your opinion isn't worth poop just like everyone else's so stop getting in a huff when people don't agree. And maybe once...just once...you can offer a reply to something that doesn't fit your agenda without throwing a wobbler.

"I don't give a s**t about your errors or penalties stats. I didn't even look at missed tackles or any other stats". I think that much is obvious. But hey! As long as you think it, it must be true...
