All three are contracted to the end of next season. As is hill. I can see him potentially retiring? with hopefully his money adding on and going to these three young lads who I hope are going to be the cornerstone of our pack for a long time to come!

Sam's best position? Tough one, I'd say 2nd row for the near future. But yes, I can also see the Stephen Wild connection.
He seems to have the 'mongrel' of a Kirmond / Bloem, but the class and infectious enthusiasm of a young Ryan Hudson.
Either way what a great young prospect.
If he's able to mirror the improvement we've seen in Owen Trout we're in for a real treat. I really thought we'd been 'worked over' by Gary Heatherington (once again) when he came in as makeweight for Kruise. But I wouldn't be turning the clock back now.

After today's game he looks like a new Bateman

Hewitt has got so much better recently. He still has errors in his game, but wow, coming forward he is turning into a monster, not sure what his best position is as he really isn't a ball handler at all.
