Also on the loan boys I'd be keeping Walker and if we can Longstaff. Unsure on Simm to be honest, but might be worth a 12 month/2 year at the right price

It is a strange situation with Joey, he has sort of been caught out with his engineered utility value, but for me he should be at nine till the season end, either starting or spelling Danny or Denive, let’s see what he’s got at nine.

I was sort of hoping when the season started Danny would be first choice, then by the middle/end of the season Joey would've taken over. Injuries etc haven't helped, but I can't really remember him having a proper stint at 9

Hodgson to blame for this in my opinion, he took far to long to realise that JJ was never ever the answer.
