Hurrell has turned out to be a shrewd back up signing we’ve needed since week 1 - we haven’t really seen the worst of his defensive issues until Salford but he certainly wasn’t alone!!
Anyway - hopefully we’ll see Makinson, Percival and Hopoate back for the play-offs: Hopoate, Makinson, Hurrell, Percival, Bennison, Welsby, Lomax will give us as good a chance as anyone.
Play-offs should be great this season!
I thought Welsby,Lomax, and Grace played, also on another thread it was stated that Hurrell was the best signing of the season.

They did play, sorry I don’t understand your point. Grace is also now done for the season though unfortunately so sits with Makinson, Percival, Hopoate and Dodd as first choice backs out of the side.
We went into the season with a strong squad pretty much everywhere except scrum half - that’s our fault as it’s something that was flagged by lots of people before the season started. As a result the Dodd/Hopoate injuries and Lomax playing crocked are the big ones as they are the ones that hit pivot positions.
I thought Roby at 7 might be the best approach given how important strike at FB is and a desire to keep Welsby there given we have Lussick to cover 9, but we need to bite the bullet and get Welsby in the halves.
Grace’s injury now makes that a bit more difficult as we need to find more cover for the wing if Bennison is FB until (if?) Hopoate back . Lussick has been pretty disappointing too and just shows how blessed we’ve been with KC then Roby for so long.

My point is every team has players out and dont go on about it when they lose. You lot go into great detail why Stains are the greatest team ever and then go into great detail why if god forbids you lose a game why you lost, how many players were missing ,it was the refs fault etc etc.ffs you lost Stains arent that good anymore, you have had a good 3 seasons if you win this one then so be it. On a side note how many players were out when we knocked you out of the CC. Please dont take this the wrong way but you are on a Wigan site telling us how good you are,how unlucky you with injuries etc you will get someone like me who think you are arrogant and cannot see any other teams problems that I will always respond in kind.

I’m writing in a thread called “Saints”. Sorry if it wasn’t actually about Saints.

But I will add I wouldnt go on Redvee and post about Wigan I am sure the reaction would be slightly different and there is a thread about Wigan on the site.

I’m not sure what you want me to say - I have no issue with you having a view on what I write! If you think pointing out Saints having lots of players missing on edges after a defeat is arrogant so be it, I’m not going to lose any sleep about it chap.
I’ve also said Salford were tremendous and richly deserved the win.

Would've put good money on it being moved to Thursday, maybe the clubs have got the nod from Sky already ?
