Safe journey home.

As much as it hurt to watch that Shiite last night and I fully understand fans reaction, mine was the same by the way, I do feel that Jake was trying too hard and shouldn’t be vilified too strongly. His pass to Fariamo was basically a good read, the other interception was a cracking tackle, which fooked up his pass. We have a week to work with Smith and I sincerely hope he’ll bring something to the table, at least the club are reacting. Jake’s a match winner, he’ll come good. I think he’s so involved he just takes everything personally and deffo gets angry at the response of his team mates, when he looks at the ambivalent behaviour when going behind on the scoreboard by certain players. I sent an email to Adam Pearson via James Clark today, a thing I wouldn’t have contemplated 4 weeks ago , basically saying unless the coaching staff undergoes a serious change before next season, the 2 passes that I have purchased for the best part of 50 years is seriously under threat. We have a week to work with this team plus Will Smith before Toulouse away. I don’t think Hodgson’s the coach to take us through the next season but he can win me over in the next 7 games, basically he has to win 5 of them starting with Toulouse next week and the last 4, I’m writing off Saints and Hudds but the optimist in me says we could do Hudds as well. I’ll get my coat and order me a taxi for HRI, I think my heart is broken.

I'd don't think it would be wrong to say that is probably how the vast majority of fans feel. Personally I'm not sure that BH has it in him to take the club forward based on what I've seen from him in terms of selection, use of interchanges, tactics and continuation of repeating in the main the same thing week in week out. Out lack of discipline is a major concern which just keeps on getting worse despite the hearing the rhetoric every week about how they speak about it etc.
I am now at the stage that unless something radically improves between now and the end of the season then I myself will not be renewing my pass after being a pass holder for 45yrs. In that time I have seen some great sides and some poor ones but even our poorest teams back in the day in the most part despite not having great quality or facilities always put effort in. This is what makes this lot even worse as they have been given just about everything by AP yet seem incapable of giving 100% week in week out and their is seemingly no accountability.
We have very little chance of making the play offs as yet again the team have thrown away the possibility and they can say injuries and suspensions have player a part and whilst that in some ways may well be true it does not and will not excuse the poor attitude, performances, they have delivered over the last month nor the hammerings suffered or the manner of those defeats.

I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

That is some comeback by Leeds.

30-6 down, 26 minutes left and Matt Prior is sent off - yet they come back to win in Golden Point extra time.

Really tight now, just four points separating 5th and 9th

Pains me to say it but can see the Whino's finishing 5th. I wouldn't write them off for a GF spot either.

They are certainly still feeling the new coach bounce. Whether they can maintain that remains to be seen, but they have momentum and a favourable fixture list remaining. They can definitely make that fifth spot.

Bad couple of days of results with Leeds shock win and Salford currently hammering Saints.
