It's comical alright. Do these guys ever look in a mirror?

Walker in particular is taking the pi55 out of his team mates, the badge and the fans being in the condition he is. Fat ,lazy and doesnt give a flying one. The sooner players like him are out of the club the better

We know from previous articles that Walker's had some off field issues to deal with. I'm prepared to make allowances for that but in the end it's a workplace relationship and he's being paid. I've not seen any sign of him shifting that belly that he had when he signed up last year. He's clearly not on any weight loss programme and the S&C staff must be happy with him (speaks volumes).

Nobody expects him to start sporting a physique like Jamie Peacock but it's obvious he's carrying too much weight. He's not the only one by any means but he's the most obvious and he's chosen to speak out so he can expect to be criticised.

If he was making 150m a game and not missing any tackles then I wouldn't care but he's miles off. It's frustrating as he has talent and he could be much more effective without the lard.

Just because he has a gut doesn't make him unfit thats a lazy way of looking at it. NFL linemen can weigh up to 25 to 26 stone but are incredibly fit.

I was going to comment similar to the above. Being on the larger side doesn’t necessarily mean they are not fit. We’ve seen plenty examples, big Joe, baloo, fifita at wakey none of them were exactly slim but were all very fit and effective.

This is completely different to where we are with our squad.

Anyone watching can see the proof before their eyes. We are struggling to get back the 10 and getting penalised constantly. We are falling off tackles. We are getting carved open down the middle, on a small pitch mind, by quick PTBs. We haven’t got the energy to work it out of our own half. All point to fitness regardless of what the players say.

I find it frustrating that the club and players seem to think they cannot or should not be criticised. We are told ‘shut up everything is fine, you are seeing things’ and fans being offered out on social media. It’s just not great and alienates fans even more.

I think someone coming out and being honest in saying we’ve got it wrong this year but we will do X, Y and Z and go again next year would likely see the storm calm a little perhaps. I wouldn’t hold my breath though.

Well I suppose if you cannot read the scales it's easy to remain in denial.

They are trained to be explosive for short bursts. Complete different type of fitness required to be an RL player
