Shame, his long suspension may have ruined his chances. I am not one for judging players purely on size, but 5’ 8” is just way too small for a Super League forward or most players outside pivotal positions nowadays. He may have a decent career as a squad player or top end championship player.

I get the size references and tend to agree..but I’ve always liked him and think he ‘punches above his weight’ handy squad man in my view, but in a SC sport I get you cannot keep everyone and have to make tough decisions based on what we already have, what we have coming through and what only the club know (for now) we have coming in.

Def too small however popular he might be. Tough decisions like this, and Jack walker, should make our youngsters aware that there's absolutely no comfort zone under RS.

Shame cos he's all heart. But simply not big enough for a SL prop. Might get a gig in the lower half of SL, but more likely Batley or York. Good luck to him.
