Well suppose it has to be mentioned. Must admit even my positive outlook is getting knocked. But whilst there's a glimmer of hope I'll be rooting for us. Don't know what our team will be. Think we all concede some more players need dropping and given the door. We still have a chance to get in the 6 although it would only last one match. But whilst it's there we should go for it. Haven't even washed my shirt lol.

Sao will cop 2/3 games, Wynne? maybe 1 game

Lane/Taylor deserve to be dropped after last friday but given the above will probably get the nod again

any news on Satae? do we go wit Connor in the halves again...id be tempted to put him at centre!

Did a player or 2 miss the Catalans away game, due to not being vaccinated?

Well if Friday wasn’t a must win game, this certainly is. A defeat sees us at risk of losing sight of play offs and with tough games vs Huddersfield and saints to follow we could be looking closer to relegation than play offs.

For as bad as we have been, and the decent form Toulouse have found recently, I still think we have enough to scrape a win Sao and Wynne all but certain to drop out, however we should hopefully have Satae, Mau and Will Smith in the squad. Any players not jabbed will have to take a test before travelling out to France id imagine.

Any idea how many are making the trip? Going myself and spoken to a fair few who are also going over. Should be a good few days regardless of the result

Wonder if Mau or Swift will return. Am scratching my head about the team. Smith will play? Connor first game back so would play him again. We need him. Satae back hopefully

Really hope Ma’u and Satae are back. Really do miss those two when they aren’t there.
As mentioned, I’d drop Lane and Taylor and bring Severs and Laidlaw
back but both will probably be in the 17.

Jake back to full back, Simm to centre, walker on the wing, smith to start at 6.

Connor
McIntosh
Mitch
Simm
Walker
Smith
Gale
Evans
Lovodua
/Fash
Longstaff
Lane
Brown

Laidlaw
Taylor
Houghton
Severs

If satae and Ma’u are both fit then start Satae and put Fash to 13 with Brown on the bench in place of Taylor with Ma’u starting and Lane dropping out

Pace and stamina will be needed at Toulouse.
I would have dropped Taylor,Lane and Gale and continue with Connor at halfback with Smith as he cant be that bad two games in a row,but given we are likely to Lose Sao and Wynne may be stepped down again by Hodgson it wont happen.
Could see Connor back in the centre or Simm into centre and one of the younger players on the wing.

Jamie shaul currently running the show against saints for Wakefield

Whilst we have a leeds reject who's done nothing last 2 games

People hounded radford out and we're worse with Hodgson

Loads hounded Eddie and Stevo out the sky coverage got to a all time low

Careful what you wish for again ..... :|

Even if that is true it doesn't alter the fact that he's done nothing of note at Hull for four years.
