I’m fully expecting us to beat Cas.

For our stat loving fans on here. one stat we excel in is getting thrashed.
Not even bottom 2 clubs get a beating like we do.

That’s not a stat, just a declaration of your glee as we struggle, I’d give you and talentless your red cards.

I’ve got a stat, sort of, Hull FC 48-12 Toulouse. I’d class that as a thrashing. Think we had a pretty good first team out that day. Swings and roundabouts.

I have a feeling we’ve targeted this game, over the Wigan one, and expect the win. Especially as Cas lost a couple more players yesterday.

Hopefully we’ll come out to win it, not to lose it. No doubt Radford will be up to complete the double over us.

A bad defeat will put some pressure on Hodgson as well.

with the players we have back for this game including a full strength front row dont understand why some on here think Cas will beat us.
We should also have a much better defensive three quarter line if Griffin is dropped as expected.
Although he should be i dont think Hodgson is now under any pressure about losing his job as the club have obviously decided on a new direction in terms of recruitment adding youth and hopefully pace into the team.
I just hope we find a like for like second row to replace Mau as its evident now how his defence and aggression in possession is sadly missed.

I’ve just checked and the team that day was,
Hull FC: Jake Connor, Jamie Shaul, Connor Wynne, Carlos Tuimavave, Darnell McIntosh, Jordan Johnstone, Joe Lovodua, Ligi Sao, Danny Houghton, Kane Evans, Manu Ma’u, Jordan Lane, Brad Fash.
Interchange: Chris Satae, Jack Brown, Scott Taylor, Denive Balmforth
Reynolds and Gale suspended, Swift and Griffin injured. Balmforth came on at hooker and scored after 2 minutes. Lovodua crossed for the 9th try but passed back for Evans to touch down.

When he’s fit which, unfortunately, isn’t too often. I make out he’s missed 7 from 18 SL games.

Hope the playing group doesn't think this. We're in a bad run of form and will have to be on it.

It's a game we're capable of winning, but it's no gimmie

Well we 'll see if Satae and Taylor are OK.

Sao, Evans, Ma'u, Wynne and Johnstone back gives us more options but who knows if the disciplinary committee come up with any surprises tomorrow.

Carlos Tuimavave has a very similar injury prone time to Mau but no one seems to make any comment about that.
Still maintain Mau will be a big loss
